SADLER SETS TEAM RECORDCasey Sadler has not allowed a run over his last 26 appearances since July 27, setting a franchise record and surpassing Shigetoshi Hasegawa’s 25-game scoreless streak (6/3–8/17/2003)…it’s also tied for the longest streak in the Majors this season with Andrew Chafin-CHC (26 G, 5/8–7/21) and Josh Taylor-BOS (26 G, 4/30–7/5)…Sadler’s streak has spanned 25.0 innings, walking 4 and striking out 19 during the streak…opponents are batting just .125 (10x80) against him in that stretch…on the season, Sadler’s 0.72 ERA is lowest in the Majors among pitchers with at least 30.0 innings pitched.

PAUL FOR 100Paul Sewald is 9–3 with 11 saves and a 2.73 ERA (19 ER, 62.2 IP) in 60 relief appearances this season…he has 22 walks and 99 strikeouts, 1 strikeout away from becoming just the 4th pitcher in Mariners history to record 100 strikeouts as a reliever in a season…with his next strikeout, Sewald would join Bill Caudill (111 SO in 1982), J.J.
