Game Recap:
Shortstop Chris Taylor had a big day doing 2-for-2 with a home run, triple and 3 RBI, but the Mariners suffered their first loss of the spring in a 7-4 setback vs. the Dodgers. Here is a box score from MLB.com and video highlights of Taylor’s big game:

Canó and Zduriencik with Brock & Salk:
Mariners All-Star second baseman Robinson Canó and GM Jack Zduriencik jined Brock and Salk this morning. The 710 ESPN Seattle morning show has been hosting their show from the Mariners complex this week. You can listen to a podcast of the Canó interview and Zduriencik interview via the 710Sports.com website.

Tee Time:
While there is a spring training game each day now, the morning practice session is still used to work on the small parts of the game. Players can be seen in the indoor batting cages each morning working on hitting drills. Here are some photos of the guys getting their work in:

Paxton Throws a ‘Pen:
Left-handed starting pitcher James Paxton threw his first bullpen of the spring today. He threw 30 pitches (all fastballs) and said he felt great. James has been held back after suffering a forearm injury, so this was his first time on a mound this spring.

What’s on Tap:
The Mariners (2-1) continue to Cactus League play tomorrow (Saturday, March 7) with a pair of games in split-squad action. The Mariners will host the Diamondbacks at Peoria Stadium (12:05 pm PT/1:05 pm AZ) and will play a road game vs. the White Sox at Camelback Ranch (12:05 pm PT/1:05 pm AZ). The game vs. the D-backs  will be broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle and the Mariners Radio Network. Starting pitchers for the Mariners are scheduled to be RHP Hisashi Iwakuma (vs. Diamondbacks) and RHP Jordan Pries (at White Sox).

Next TV Game:                    
The Mariners next TV game will be Monday, March 9 vs. the Indians on ROOT Sports. A total of 16 Cactus League games will be televised this spring. You can watch a replay of today’s game vs. the Dodgers at 6 am tomorrow morning on the MLB Network (check local listings).

Single Game Tickets on Sale Tomorrow:
Single-game tickets for the 2015 Seattle Mariners season go on sale to the public tomorrow morning at 10am. Highlights of the 81-game home schedule include Opening Day, Monday, April 6 vs. the Los Angeles Angels, four postgame fireworks shows, six bobblehead giveaways, including Jamie Moyer Hall of Fame Day, and a host of other special events and giveaways. Tickets will be available without a service charge at the Safeco Field Box Office and Seattle Mariners Team Stores. They will also be available at mariners.com, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers and by phone at 1-888-SEA-HITS (service charges apply).

The Mariners will continue popular ticket offers that provide discounts throughout the season such as BECU Family Nights, Safeco Grand Slam Family Packages, College Nights, and Girls & Guys Nights Out, discounts for seniors and military members, and exclusive group prices.
