CANOCHE: A Night With Robinson Cano & Friends To Benefit RC22 Foundation
Robinson Cano is gearing up his RC22 Foundation presence in Seattle with a Latin-themed fundraiser on June 3, at the Paramount Theater.
Canoche, as the event is called, will feature a live orchestral performance, dinner, dancing, and an auction to benefit the foundation.
The mission of RC22 is to “positively impact the lives of underserved children and communities both locally and globally.”
Since it was created in 2010, Cano’s foundation has focused on youth development and community health care in his native Dominican Republic. The latest project is the RC22 Dream School, a high quality early childhood educational institution and community center in Cano’s hometown of San Pedro de Macoris.
Proceeds from Canoche will also benefit charitable organizations in the Seattle area that align with the foundation’s mission of serving youth and communities in need in the areas of education, health and wellness and fitness.
Cano sees this event as a chance to introduce Seattle, his “second home base” to RC22.
“I want to share the work of my Foundation, which develops and expands high quality opportunities for kids in need specifically in the areas of education, wellness and fitness.I also look forward to reaching more disadvantaged youth and communities not only in the Dominican Republic but also here in this beautiful city of Seattle,” said Cano.
Individual tickets for the event won’t be offered until later, but event sponsorship and table packages are available. If you are interested, contact Roc Nation Philanthropy at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 212-497-2066.
