John Olerud raised the 12th Man Flag prior to yesterday’s 17-7 Seahawks win over the 49ers.

Former Mariners first baseman John Olerud raised the 12th Man Flag prior to yesterday’s Seahawks game vs. the San Francisco 49ers. John fired up the record crowd of 68,526 prior to going on to win 17-7.

Olerud played five of his 17-season Major League career with the Mariners from 2000-2004. The former Interlake High School (Bellevue) and Washington State University star appeared in 2,234 career MLB games, combined to bat .295 with 500 doubles, 255 home runs and 1230 RBI, was a three-time Gold Glove winner (2000, 2002, 2003) and a two-time All-Star (1993, 2001).
