The Mariners announced their 2014 Spring Training schedule today.

You can now start planning on soaking up the sun and watching Mariners Baseball during 2014 Cactus League play. Today we officially released the schedule, and for the first time since 1988, all games will be played in Arizona.

The Mariners will play 16 games at Peoria Stadium next spring, including one when the Padres are designated the home team (February 28). The overall Cactus League schedule includes 33 games, beginning with the annual charity game vs. the Padres on February 27.

The Cactus League schedule includes eight night games, the most the Mariners have ever played in spring training (March 8 @ Dodgers, March 10 @ Arizona Diamondbacks, March 12 vs. Chicago Cubs, March 14 @ Rockies, March 18 vs. San Diego Padres, March 21 vs. San Diego Padres, March 25 @ Kansas City Royals, March 28 vs. Colorado Rockies).

On Thursday, March 20, the Mariners will play the Chicago Cubs at the Cubs new Spring Training home being built at the old Riverview Golf Course in Mesa (1:05pm).
