Mariners Moving Day
The countdown is down to eight days until the Mariners officially report to Spring Training in Peoria, Arizona, but the first has to come moving day. A harbinger to spring training each year is when a HUGE moving truck arrives at Safeco Field and is stuffed with bats, helmets, uniforms, baseballs, and even beds, bicycles and strollers.
The moving truck departed Safeco Field today around 1 p.m. and is scheduled to arrive in Peoria on Wednesday (after stops in Medford, OR & Southern California). The clubhouse staff of Ted Walsh, Ryan Stiles, Billy Sepich, Pete Fortune, Chris DeWitt and Jeff Bopp will unload the truck and setup the operation at the Peoria Sports Complex.
