Felix and the 1950′s
The Mariners played a pair of Turn Back the Clock games during the first half of the season, both times honoring the Seattle Rainiers of the 1950′s. Ironically, Felix Hernandez made the start in both games, May 26 at home vs. the Angels and July 8 on the road vs. the A’s (or Oakland Oaks). Here is a look at Felix in his Rainiers home and road uniforms.
