Reliving the Walk-Off Win
There are so many great things about the game of baseball, but mainly, just the fact that you never know what you are going to see when you come out to to the ballpark. Last night the Mariners were trailing 2-0 heading into the bottom of the 9th inning against the Tigers. Doug Fister threw 7.0 solid innings, and the hits just were not falling for the Mariners.
But, just like that, two walks, a wild pitch, a passed ball, a double, a sac bunt and a sacrifice fly later, the Mariners notched the 3-2 win for their third straight victory. Walk-off wins are always special, seeing the team go crazy on the field, and sending Mariners fans home happy. Here are some great photos from last night’s win over the Tigers.
