Chone Figgins hit his 8th career leadoff home run last night, his first as a Mariner, in the 4-1 win over the Cleveland Indians. In fact, it was the first leadoff home run by a Mariner not named Ichiro since Rickey Henderson on May 26, 2000 at Tampa Bay. Ichiro had hit the Mariners previous 36 leadoff homers.
