Down on the Farm – March 26

Yesterday was a pretty quiet day in Mariners minor league camp with some Intrasquad games. We don’t have any highlights to pass along, but we’ll get back to reporting all the details in tomorrow’s blog post (for today’s games). The Mariners minor leaguers will take on the Rangers affiliates today starting at 1 p.m. Tacoma and Jackson will play in Peoria, while Clinton and High Desert will travel to Surprise.

RHP Kevin Millwood started on the mound in the AAA game and allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 5.2 innings. He struck out 7, walked 2 and threw 84 pitches/53 strikes. He is next scheduled to throw in the Mariners Cactus League game March 31 vs. San Diego.
