Additional Notes: The Mariners played (and won) a B game this morning vs. the Chicago White Sox, 4-3. Highlights of the game included home runs from Munenori Kawasaki and John Jaso, and an RBI double by Jesus Montero. Here are the pitching highlights from today’s game:

  • Starting pitcher Jeff Marquez threw 3.0 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 3.
  • LHP Charlie Furbush allowed 5 hits and 2 runs in 2.0 innings, but struck out 5 batters.
  • RHP Brandon League allowed 1 run and struck out 3 in 2.0 IP.
  • LHP Lucas Luetge threw a perfect inning on 6 pitches.
